Privacy Policy
Cardive Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Scope
This policy applies to Cardive for iOS and Android, including companion widgets and platform store pages. Cardive is an on-device organizer for cards, repayment reminders, fixed expenses, and related records.
Information you enter or create
Cardive may store information you choose to enter, such as card names, masked card numbers, card types, billing days, repayment days, credit limits, expiry dates, fee reminders, fixed expense names, amounts, notes, reminder settings, completion status, language, theme, currency, and subscription status snapshots.
Local storage
Your main records are stored on your device. On iOS, Cardive may use App Group storage so the main app and widgets can read the same local records and preferences. On Android, equivalent local app storage may be used for app features and widgets. Cardive does not require an account to use these local features.
Camera and card recognition
If you choose to scan a card, Cardive requests camera access to capture an image and detect card information. Recognition runs on the device. Images are not used for advertising and are not uploaded to Cardive servers.
Notifications
Cardive may request notification permission to schedule local reminders for repayment dates, fixed expenses, card expiry, card fees, and reminder coverage. Notification content is generated from the records you keep in the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you install the app. Cardive does not receive your full payment card number or platform account password. The app may store local subscription status needed to unlock features.
Diagnostics and analytics
Cardive may keep limited in-app event records on your device to understand feature gates, purchases, and app behavior. If future versions add third-party analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, advertising, or account services, this policy and the store data disclosures should be updated before those features are released.
Export and sharing
If you export CSV data or share content from Cardive, the exported file may contain the records you selected. You control where that exported file is saved or shared, and the destination service may handle it under its own terms and privacy policy.
Sharing with third parties
Cardive does not sell your personal information. Cardive does not share your local records with advertisers or data brokers. Information may be disclosed only when you choose to share/export it, when a platform store processes a purchase, when you contact support, or when required by law.
Deletion
You can delete app records from within the app where deletion features are provided. You can also remove local app data by uninstalling the app, subject to the operating system's backup and restore behavior. Store purchase history and subscription management are handled by Apple or Google.
Children
Cardive is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support contact, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
